About Dr. Suchdev

In 2016 Dr Suchdev, along with his colleagues, formed OASIS Recovery Centers to address the growing need within the local community for treatment of addiction and substance abuse. Dr. Suchdev has successfully completed the Buprenorphine course for office based treatment of opioid use disorders through the American Society of Addiction Medicine and is federally licensed to prescribe Suboxone for his patients.

PK Suchdev, MD is a graduate of Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine and Residency training in Anesthesiology with a focus on pain management at Northwestern University and the University of Pennsylvania.

Following his Residency and military service, Dr. Suchdev completed a Fellowship in Pain Management at the Harvard Medical School, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. While serving in the Air Force, Dr. Suchdev held the position of Director of the Chronic Pain Management Program at Wilford Hall Medical Center, the largest military pain referral center within the Uniformed Services. Dr. Suchdev was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal for his work in patient care protocols which set new benchmarks for efficiency and quality of care for pain management services in the military setting.

In 1999, Dr. Suchdev was recruited to the Southern New Hampshire region in anticipation of developing a comprehensive pain management program. In 2001, he established the first multi-disciplinary pain management clinic in the Nashua area. His vision was to create a network of integrated, information-rich pain management clinics throughout NH incorporating evidence-based treatment algorithms, providing high quality cost-effective pain management services.

Dr. Suchdev is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology in both Anesthesiology and Pain Management. He has served on various committees and boards on the national, state and community level. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Southern New Hampshire Health System.
